Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) B.Tech Result 2019 – University released the application form for admission 2019 in February. And the Candidates who wish to take admission in JMI had to go through the registration for the admission by filling the application form. But it was closed on May 15.
JMI B.Tech Admission 2019 offers engineering in 5 fields i,e Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, and last one Electronics and Comm. Engineering. And admission is purely based on the basis of their JEE Main scores. Shortlisting of candidates for JMI Admissions will be done by the authorities concerned. The shortlisted candidates will go through the counselling process to get admission in those 5 fields of engineering.

JMI released the first selected list on 7th of July. Either you can check it by visiting jmi official website and see the admission result section there or you can see it by downloading the link given below.
Reservation Criteria 2019
JMI university provides reservation to minority candidates. 50% reservation of total seat is for Muslim Minorities only. And the rest 50% is for general students. Detailed reservation of each category is shown below.

JMI B.Tech Counselling 2019
All of the candidates who made into the selected list list will be able to participate in the counselling session of Jamia Millia Islamia B.Tech Admission 2019. The selected candidates will have to report to the dean office, faculty of Engineering confirm their admission in allotted branch by paying the tuition fee. Since verification of documents will be done, the candidates will have to bring along the following documents:
Venue: Dean office, faculty of engineering, Gate No. 5 JMI
Timing: 9 onward (most probably)
NOTE: Most important to know that, any student can ask for up-gradation of branch while taking admission if he/she is allotted with preference lower than first one.

Not started yet but expect for very soon.
Its tough to get CS at that much rank. Might you will not get any other branch . Still you can hope for Civil eng.

Just wait for JMI B.tech result, if any seats remain vacant after 5-6 listings, then they will open spot rounds for interested students only.

Yeah result is coming late from 1st list only. We are hoping that result will declare by this Monday or Tuesday if seats will remain vacant. So hope for best

Yeah with this rank you have a chance to get into jmi b.tech. You will get any branch except CSE according to your preferences of branches.

I think for 1st year it will be approx 16k. And from 2nd year it will be around 10k per year. And documents required for admission will available on your selected list. So go through it.

I want to ask when will classes start if admission are taking place in august also.
Classes have been started from 1st of August. You can’t do anything. You have to ask for help from students and teachers also fro the syllabus, exams, notes etc.

You can get electronics , mechanical, electrical and civil too. Its depend on your preferences. Do let me know your preferences.
Can we change our branch preference in spot round? In Jamia department of engineering
You can not change your preferences. One thing you can do is, if you will get a lower preference branch at first then you can ask for upgradation if the seat is left n that branch.
I fill mech. Engineering at 2 place unknowingly because at that time I am unaware of branches…. And electrical and electronics at third and comp science at first and I know I got mech because of my stupidity as mech have usually lower cutoff….can I do something to get electronics…. Because I know I am not goin to get comp science….. Pls help
What is your rank? One thing you can do is wait for list. And if you got electronics firstly then stick to it. And don’t ask for upgradation at the time of admission. For any queries do let me know?
Not a one percent chance.. as mechanical have lower cutoff than electronics in any clg… So I get mechanical first. I am hopeless now. At 140 no. I got 70k+ rank thanks to NTA.i would like to enquire that whether in spot round can we change our preference like in Jac Delhi or jossa counseling?
As per out spot round counselling. You can not change your preferences over there. You will get seat according to your marks and preference. Do enquire them by contacting the official faculty of engineering.

As the 1st list were declared late i,e on 7thy july. So 2nd and 3rd list will release by third week of july 2019.
Because from 1st August, there will be the commencement of class.
